Farm Description:
This is a small organic farm located in central New Hampshire. We have a beautiful westerly mountain location. The farm includes a pond and several acres of woods. We are at the end of a dead end road and are 2 miles from town.We raise primarily organic fruit. Currently we have raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, peaches, plums, elderberries and a few trials ongoing. There are also vegetable gardens. We have several greenhouses that can accommodate seedlings as well as more mature plants. We practice all organic method of farming. Our goal is to expand our berries into several more acres each year. This will entail clearing an acre or two and preparing and planting. In addition we will cut firewood and create green pastures for pigs, chickens, and goats and will put up fencing where needed. We would also like to sell at area farmers markets. We will attend a tremendous organic fair for 3-days in late September.

We have two large brightly lighted and carpeted bedrooms and a full tiled bathroom as well as a living room with hardwood floors and a fireplace available. Children and pets okay. Meals are primarily organic. WiFi available.
There is a car available for use. Language is English. The area has several large lakes about 5 minutes away. It is a bicycle and hiking haven. There are several fairs and ongoing events in the area. There are several food cooperatives nearby as well as farmers markets.Apprentices would be needed in early Spring through late Fall and perhaps longer depending on activities and willingness to stay longer.
